Studio policies

Safe, fair and welcoming for everyone.

Every student is an important part of our community. Here's how we keep the studio running smoothly.

01

Securing your spot and prepayments

First time booking with us, or have a no-show on your account? Prepayment is required to secure your spot. This helps us plan class sizes and keep things fair for everyone on the schedule.

If we haven't received your payment within 48 hours of the class, your spot may be made available to someone else. Without payment it is up to the instructor's discretion to remove you from the session, so that people on the waitlist can be added.

Your booking confirmation email lists our accepted payment methods. Once you've paid, send a screenshot of the receipt by email, DM or chat to secure your booking.

02

Recording in class

Photos and videos are a great way to document your journey and are allowed in studio, as long as they don't disrupt the class. Please get permission from anyone who may appear in the background before taking or posting any photos or videos.

No live videography on any social media platform during group classes.

03

Class interactions

Ellani Aerial aims to foster a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone. We do not tolerate bullying, disrespectful behaviour or any violation of others' personal space. Such behaviour will result in immediate removal from the studio and access to classes being revoked.

04

Punctuality

Please be on time: arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to check in and get settled.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen, so if you're late (within the grace period), please enter quietly with minimal interruption.

05

Grace period

There is a 10 minute grace period at the beginning of each class. After that, entry is at the discretion of the instructor. If you aren't permitted to enter, your credit is forfeited.

06

Class cancellation and late cancellation

By a student: please cancel at least four (4) hours before your class, so the studio can fill your spot. Cancel online from My account or message us by email, DM or chat. Your class credit is returned when you cancel in time.

Cancellations less than four hours before class attract a $1,500 late fee for all students.

By the studio: instructors may cancel classes with fewer than three students booked. If this happens you'll get an email at least two hours before the class.

07

No-shows

Didn't cancel and didn't show? Package holders forfeit a credit. Non-package holders and drop-ins need to pay $2,500 before booking another session.

Spots are limited, and a no-show means someone on the waitlist missed their chance to train.

08

Booking class levels

Please book the class level that matches your current skill and strength. If in doubt, email us or DM us on Instagram. It keeps you, and everyone else, safe and keeps classes running smoothly.

Students taking intermediate (level II) classes can't book beginner (level I) classes for any apparatus. Where a session isn't fully booked, the instructor may allow an intermediate student into a beginner class.

09

Illness

If you're feeling ill or have any symptoms, including but not limited to fever or difficulty breathing, please seek medical attention and don't attend class. If you've already booked and become ill, see our cancellation policy above.

10

Food and drink

Food isn't permitted in the studio. Water bottles and energy drinks are welcome; please discard them in the bin in reception.

11

Jewellery

Rings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets and other jewellery can scratch the poles or get caught in the hammocks. For your safety and to protect our equipment, please remove and secure jewellery before class.

12

Shoes

Remove street shoes and place them in the cubbies with your belongings before stepping into the private room or main studio. For heels classes, make sure your heels are clean. Otherwise, socks or bare feet only!

13

Phones

Please be respectful of your instructors and classmates by keeping calls and texts outside the studio. If you need your phone for work or a personal reason, let your instructor know and keep it where it won't interrupt the class. Keep phones on silent and step outside to take a call.

Remember our recording policy: be mindful of capturing others in your videos and never post without consent.

14

Refunds

All purchases are non-refundable. We're happy to help with rescheduling or credits where possible instead!

15

Disregard for studio policies

These policies keep our studio safe, fair and welcoming for everyone. Repeated disregard for them will affect your ability to book future classes, including but not limited to membership cancellation and studio access being revoked.
